Vote Ready

Your vote only counts if you can cast it. Four checks, done early, so election day is calm.

Why every vote matters

To win outright, a candidate needs the most votes nationally and at least 25% in two-thirds of the States and the FCT. In a close race, your polling unit matters.

  1. Check your registration

Confirm you are on the register using INEC’s official voter verification service: cvr.inecnigeria.org/vvs (also via inecnigeria.org).

  2. Collect your PVC

Find out where your Permanent Voter Card is waiting and collect it in person before INEC’s deadline.

  3. Find your polling unit

Know exactly where you will vote and how long it takes to get there. Visit it before election day if you can.

  4. Plan your day

Decide when you will go, who you will go with, and who you will remind. Arrive early, bring only your PVC, and stay peaceful.

You are vote ready. Now help ten people do the same.
